How Long After Childbirth Does a Womens Menstrual Cycle Resumes?

Tags: Childbirth, long childbirth womens menstrual cycle resumes, menstrual cycleI had a baby and I bled two and a half weeks after and then stopped. It is now 6 weeks later and I started my period. I was told that I shouldn’t have a period until at 2-3 months after childbirth but it’s only been a month and a half. Is something wrong with me or is this normal for some women.

it’s normal.
your body didn’t have a menstrual cycle for 9 months so it needs to get back in the swing of things.
