Timid Women Rarely Make History @ 5:14 am

ALL men look at other women. But if he won’t keep his hands to himself, that is a problem. I really think you should get in shape more for your own self esteem, rather than just to keep his wondering eyes from wondering.
As far as when to start. This will depend on how your delivery goes, and how you feel after. More than likely until you are able to get a few nights of good sleep, you won’t want to go jogging. So I’d say at least 6-8 weeks.

unless your doctor has you on restrictions you should be fine to work out, usually after 6 weeks you are allowed to start slowly working back into excersizing, just be careful and dont overdue.

Check with your doc but normal after 6 weeks pp appointment if you don’t have any problem it is okay. Some people can start as early as three weeks. I know this girl she had to do so because she was getting married in two months after she had her baby and she wanted to fit in her dress.

You could’ve started working out again after your 6 week checkup.

I haven’t started working out.
Don’t have the time or energy.

Your hubby was looking at other women before baby and he will after you get back into shape. He’s married, not dead and it’s nothing to be worried about. A previous poster stated that you should exercise for you, I agree with this. You could have started back into a normal routine as early as three weeks post-baby depending on how you were recovering and what your doctor thought was best. At 4 months you’re definitely cleared to break a sweat. Have fun. :)

It depends on how you feel. After my second child I started doing 15 situps a day after 2 weeks post delivery. I started seeing SOME results at about a week and a half.

6-8 weeks. Just after my first OB appt afterwards. It took me nearly a year to go from 170 to 125.
Got a flat tummy now. My husband calls me a MILF

~~CHLOE~~ RILEY'S MUMMY @ 1:10 pm

I started exercising six weeks after I had my son. He is now 5 months old, and I look ‘alright’ but the flabby belly is still there haha I dont think it will go away any time soon. It sucks cause I am going to my first music festival this weekend and all my clubbing/rave clothes dont fit me, mainly my pants cause my hips have gone wider and I cant change that… and i’ve said goodbye to any tops/shirts that show ANY part of my stomach… DAMN stretchmarks haha but hey, we should be proud cause they are battle scars from labour!

Men will always look at other women, and i’ll always be jealous of the ‘perfect’ models, but i’m slowly learning to get pasted that cause its doing nothing but make me angry, its hard to get self confidence back but i’m sure we’ll get there soon!

good luck
